- Log via recent/favorites

The DietSensor App enables you quickly access to the foods you previously selected as favorites.

Pre requisite:
In order to have favorite foods, you will have already logged foods (Using the database barcode or SCiO) and identified them as favorites by tapping on the 'star' icon on the food entry screen.


Accessing the food log screen:

Begin by tapping the '+' icon and the 'food' icon as shown below.
 


The food logging screen:

On the food log screen, tap the star 'Favorite' icon, as shown below.
 


Accessing your list of favorite foods:

You will see your most recent foods on the upper window, the most recent on the left. If you disable the filter, you will not only see the food recorded during the present time frame, but all the recorded foods. Select each food you wish to add (tick the bottom right button) as shown below. But do not change the filter while selecting. Either select with or without the filter.


The Recent and favorites foods screen: 

The bottom window shows recent foods that you marked as favorites with the star icon, using the "Choose the favorites" button. 

                                         

Once you are done with your selection click on the Tick icon on the top right corner of your screen.


Modifying weight/ food portions:

The App will then switch to the weight selection screen, you can manually enter the weight of your food, use the scrolling wheel or the connected DietSensor scale, as seen on the screen below.
 

Adding more foods to your meal:

You can repeat the process until your foods are added to the current meal. The meal screen summarizes the information for the meal you are about to log. To record all foods as eaten, click on 'Done' on the header.

Your meal has now been added!

You will see it appear on your dashboard and can edit/ modify  it simply by tapping on it. 


Adding a meal for a past day/ time:

Did you notice the data and time of the meal at the footer of the food log screen?

This allows you to modify the date/ time of the meal you are logging. Simply tap on the date and time to modify accordingly. This is handy if you wish to log a prior meal.


Deleting a logged meal/ food:

You can also delete the whole meal by clicking on 'Delete this meal'. Caution though, this will delete every single food entered on the meal. 

If you want to delete a specific food within a meal, simply tap the appropriate food and tap the bin icon as shown below:
